Registration: Pre-K & Kindergarten

There are still a few preschool spots open for fall 2025. The preschools in town begin accepting registrations for fall of 2026 in January. The Southington Public School District's formal Kindergarten registration process will start with an Information Session in early 2026. Learn more about registering and preparing for school.

Mental Health

Mental health is just as important as physical health to a child’s well-being. Scientific research has shown that a child’s early experiences—whether good or bad —affect the development of children’s brains and their life-long health. Even very young children can experience childhood trauma or mental health issues and it is better to identify and address any issues early.
