Join the ECCS for their annual presentation on the State of Early Childhood in Southington.

The Early Childhood Collaborative of Southington (ECCS) will host a presentation on “Early Childhood in Southington” during their Annual Meeting on Thursday morning, May 23, 2019 at Bread for Life. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 am. The program will run from 8 to 9 am.

The agenda will include presentations by Joanne Kelleher, Director of the ECCS and Kristie Sadowski, Executive Director of the Southington Library and Museum. Joanne will give an overview of the state of early childhood in Southington including birth rates, the growing shortage in childcare slots, and trends along with goals for the future. Kristie will talk about how the Southington Library serves the town’s younger residents and their families and the issues the Library is facing.

A brief Board Election will also take place.

A full breakfast will be served. Please register so we can prepare enough food.
