Southington Children, Families Benefit as Community Foundation Awards More than $230,000 in Year-End Grants
Early Childhood Collaborative of Southington Among Major Awardees
The Early Childhood Collaborative of Southington has been awarded up to $30,000 in grant dollars by the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain to support staffing, infrastructure and expenses associated with implementation of the Community Plan for Southington’s Young Children.
The grant award, from the Foundation’s First Years First early childhood development fund, is among $232,300 in year-end grants approved last week by the Community Foundation board of directors benefiting non-profit organizations and programs serving Southington, Berlin, New Britain and Plainville.
